Day 1: Transfer from Kigali-Rwanda to Bukima-DR Congo

Early morning, you will have a pick up from your safari guide, you could have a visit to the Genocide memorial site for a historical memory of the mass killing that happened in 1994. Have an early lunch and transfer to Goma in Congo which is a 4 hours’ drive and add other 2 hours to connect to Bukima. Arrivein the evening, have dinner and spend an overnight at Mikeno lodge (Up market) or Bukima tented camp(Mid-range) or Ihusi Hotel-Goma(Budget).

Day 2: Gorilla trekking -Virunga National Park

After an early morning breakfast drive to the park head offices for briefing, where you will briefed on gorilla trekking guidelines. Gorilla tracking begins early in the morning and you are allowed to spend 1 full hour once meet with the gentle giants. You will have ample time to take pictures of the Gorillas for memories of this thrilling experience. Return to the lodge later, relax in the evening. Have dinner and Overnight at Mikeno lodge (Up market) or Bukima tented camp(Mid-range) or Ihusi Hotel-Goma (Budget).

Day 3: Return to Kigali

After your breakfast at the lodge drive back to Kigali,you will have lunch on the way and if you have your flight in the evening; you will be transferred to the Kigali International airport Rwanda.
