Day 1: Travel to Ssese Island on Lake Victoria

Have breakfast in the morning and after, meet our driver guide who will transfer you to Nakiwogo Landing Site in Entebbe to start your 3 days Ssese Island tour on Lake Victoria. This will take you about 3 hours to get to Ssese Islands. The other alternative route takes you via Masaka southwestern Kampala about 2 hours’ drive from Kampala to pier in Masaka. It takes you half an hour on water and one hour to drive on the Island to your lodge or walk for a few meters depending on location of y0ur accommodation facility from the landing site. You can embark on full day nature walk or forest walk in Lutoboka Central Forest Reserve. This is a medium altitude rainforest which straddles at 378 hectares and it was gazetted in 1948. It is a prominent home to numerous birds that account for over 300 avifaunal species and many primates. Later, get back to enjoy lunch and relaxation at the white sand beach on Lake Victoria.
