Day 1: Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Wake up early in the morning to prepare and enjoy your breakfast from your comfortable hotel or area of residence in Kampala or Entebbe. After, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional company representative who first will give briefing about your 4 days Uganda double gorilla trekking safari. Thereafter, you will start your 8-10 road trip to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Entebbe or Kampala-Masaka-Mbarara route and en-route, you make a stopover at the Equator for relaxation, stretching and photography. The second stopover will be made at Igongo Cultural Center for a delicious lunch and after, you continue with your drive to southwestern Uganda to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park while enjoying the breathtaking sceneries of this region. Day 2: First gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You are expected to get up early in the morning to prepare by making sure that you are on your long sleeved shirt or t-shirt, hiking boots, socks, trouser and bottled water, snacks are all ready. After, you will have breakfast and later, meet the driver guide for transfer depending on the location of your accommodation facility to your respective trailhead for briefing on the set guidelines for gorilla trekking by the park official. Briefing time starts at 7:00am and you are expected to be at the park headquarters earlier enough. You will be assigned to one gorilla family to track in a group of 8 trekkers. The gorilla groups to trek in Bwindi National Park include Habinyanja, Rushegura, Rwingi, Nshongi, Bushaho, Bikingi, Kutu, Nkuringo, Christmas, Katwe, Kahungye, Busingye, Kyaguriro, Mubare, Bitukura, Mucunguzi, Mukiza.

At 8:00am, the actual trek will kick off through the dense vegetation of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and you will be accompanied by park ranger guide, trackers and porters. This will take you about 2-6 hours depending on your hiking speed, nature of habitat and where these great apes are located. Only an hour is given to you to strike your imaginations with these creatures, take photos and learn about their behaviors. After, you will get back to the lodge to have a rest and in the evening, you will pay a visit to Batwa community for cultural exploration.

Day 3: Second gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Enjoy your breakfast and after, still you gather at your respective trailhead/park offices as per your gorilla permit for briefing. Later, a different gorilla family will be allocated to you to trek in a group of 8 trekkers. It will last for 2-6 hours depending on your level of physical fitness, nature of habitat and location of gorillas. Once you find them, you have an hour of magical encounter, take pictures and learn how they behave. After, return to the lodge to relax, dine and spend a night.
